ALLISON TRANSMISSION CHOSEN FOR AGRALE’S FIRST ARTICULATED BUS Agrale, the Brazilian bus manufacturer, has chosen Allison Transmission for its first automatic articulated bus manufactured in South America. The Agrale MT 27 LE is a rear engine, articulated, low entry, 18 metre bus with a gross combined weight of 27 tonnes. Equipped with air suspension, the bus matches an Allison T375R transmission to an MWM engine for its Euro III version and a Cummins engine for the Euro V version.

NATURAL GAS POWERED DOUBLE-DECK BUS READY FOR TESTING The world’s first Euro 6 double-deck natural gas powered bus is ready to undergo two months of tests ahead of delivery to the British market, slated for later this year. The bus, developed by Scania and assembled in the United Kingdom by Mi Vehicle Integration Limited and Alexander Dennis Limited (ADL), recently arrived at the Port of Gothenburg before being driven more than 400 kilometres to the Scania Technical Centre in Södertälje.
