KOKAM INTRODUCES XPAND AS A HIGH PERFORMANCE LITHIUM ION BATTERY SOLUTION  FOR ELECTRIC BUSES Kokam Co., Ltd of South Korea, provider of innovative battery solutions, introduces the Xpand battery pack, delivering electric vehicle manufacturers a safe, high performance, cost-effective battery solution for electric bus, tram, truck, ground support equipment (GSE), military, marine, special-purpose and other commercial and industrial electric vehicle (EV) applications. The Xpand battery pack will be offered in two versions -- XMP71P, a 7.1 kilowatt hour (kWh) version, and XMP114E, a 11.4 kWh version. Both versions are easily scalable, able to support EV applications from 7.1 kWh up to 1.5MWh of capacity in a wide variety of voltages.

IVECO TO SUPPLY 120 HYBRID ARTICULATED BUSES TO MILAN ATM Italian bus and truck manufacturer Iveco will be supplying 120 new 18-metre articulated hybrid buses to Milan public transport operator ATM. She won a tender from the northern Italian city transport operator last January for the renewal of its fleet .for a three-year period from 2017 to 2019, and then signed a contract with it for the supply of 21 vehicles. The contract was then extended to include 99 more vehicles.
